  1. The Color Match Game Version 1.1 for Windows
  2.  
  3. This version fixes a couple of bugs that were present in version 1.0.  This
  4. version also adds an average score option.
  5.  
  6. Color match is a game which challenges ones problem solving skills like no 
  7. other.  The computer has four vacant slots which it fills each with a 
  8. separate color.  The possible color choices are yellow, white, black, red, 
  9. blue, and green.  The computer can choose to use the same color for more 
  10. then one slot.

  12. You are to try to guess what colors the computer choose in 10 or less tries.  
  13. The computer helps you with your guessing by letting you know when you are 
  14. "hot" and "cold".  The computer does this with color coded circles that 
  15. appear after the user makes their color selections and clicks their right 
  16. mouse button or selects the guess option from the menu.  The user makes 
  17. their color selections by clicking the left button within the black circle.  
  18. Each time the user clicks their left button the circle sequences through the 
  19. possible colors.  Remember that the color black is a valid color option.  
  20. The user starts by playing the bottom row on the screen and progresses 
  21. upward.

  23. For each user selection which is in the proper slot and the proper color a 
  24. black circle will appear to the right of that row.  Each user selection 
  25. which is the proper color but not in the proper slot will be rewarded with a 
  26. white peg.

  29. Steps to install:
  30.  
  31. 1)  Unzip colrmatch.zip to a temp directory.  You will need pkunzip.exe.
  32. 2)  run setup.exe from Program Manager.  Make sure you specify the 
  33.     directory you used in step 1.  ex. c:/temp/setup
  34. 3)  Instruction on how to play are available via the help option within
  35.     the game.
